The essay contest is open to all Catholic students graduating from elementary schools (8th Grade) and high schools (12th Grade) in 2009.
The theme of the essay is “The responsibility of the Catholic citizen in a free society.” Contest participants are asked to write a 500-700 word essay based on the writings from Pope John Paul II or Pope Benedict XVI.
