Tuesday May 15th through Friday May 18th Special Olympics are coming to Billings for a three year run.

The local KC Chair is State Church Director and Billings Faithful Navigator Steve Geiger, who is arranging

4th Degree participation in both the Opening Ceremonies and Award Presentations.
All interested Knights and Sir Knights are invited and encouraged to attend.

In addition to the newly minted Sir Knights, several long time Sir Knights were publicly acknowledged and honored by District Master Ken Kingman.

Sir Knight Nilo Cabrera, was honored as the first 4th Degree Team Member to be certified in MT by Supreme under the new Exemplification guidelines. It is believed that Nilo may also be the first certified Team Member in the entire
deSmet Province as well.

In addition to congratulations sent by Vice Supreme Master and Supreme Board Member Paul Lambert, Nilo will be receiving a
Certification Card and 4th Degree Challenge Coin from Supreme
shortly;  

Congratulations Nilo!

Also honored were the members of the Billings 4th Degree Exemplification Team which have heroically crisscrossed MTwith the Master and District Marshal holding Exemplifications whenever and wherever requested; they include:

  • Jon Swecker FC
  •  Bob Murphy PSD
  • Nilo Cabrera
  • Ken Holgard
  • Frank Braun
  • Jared Keller
  • Dick Deis
  • Ken Silvernagle
  • Dave Scott 

 These Worthy Sirs were all presented with special handmade red, white, and blue Rosaries made specifically for them
by Sir Knight Dan McKenty from Great Falls Assembly and they are all owed a sincere thank you for all of the time and effort expended in exemplifying our new Sir Knights around the State. 

Next time you see any of these dedicated Sir Knights, please extend them a heartfelt thank you.
